Singing.
(By members of the Concord Choral Club, under the direction of Mr. Harry Lucius Chase.)
To Thee, O Country - Eichberg

Address.
Rev. Grindell Reynolds.

[The audience is invited to join with the Choral Club in singing, to the tune of Old Hundred, page 43, Mr. Emerson's Hymn, written for the dedication of the Monument at the Battle Ground July 4th, 1837.]

By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled;
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard round the world.

The foe long since in silence slept;
Alike the conqueror silent sleeps;
And Time the ruined bridge has swept
Down the dark stream that seaward creeps.

On this green bank, by this soft stream,
We place with joy a votive stone,
That memory may their deed redeem,
When, like our sires, our sons are gone.

O Thou who made those heroes dare
To die, or leave their children free—
Bid Time and Nature gently spare
The shaft we raise to them and Thee.

Addresses.
Hon. Ebenezer Rockwood Hoar.
His Excellency Frederic T. Greenhalge, Governor.

America (page 290) - By the audience.

My country! 'tis of thee,
Sweet land of liberty,
Of thee I sing;
Land where my fathers died!
Land of the Pilgrims' pride!
From every mountain side
Let freedom ring!

Our fathers' God, to thee,
Author of liberty,
To thee we sing:
Long may our land be bright
With freedom's holy light;
Protect us by thy might.
Great God, our King!

Old Times in Old Concord.

The Ladies of the Church Aid Society purpose commemorating the 19th of April, 1775, by reproducing a household of the Colonial days. It has been arranged to give a reception during the 20th, 21st, and 22nd of the current month, which will be a festival of the olden time, exhibiting a frontier kitchen, and the domestic customs of our ancestors. For this purpose the dwelling of Mr. Fuller, on Monument Street, has been made ready. Visitors from a distance on their way to the Battle-Ground of 1775 will obtain a glimpse of Concord as it is and as it was, and will be afforded an opportunity of a place to rest and lunch.

A genuine Tally-ho Coach, with a contemporaneous driver and guard, will carry passengers to and from the dwelling, the depot, and the battle-field. For the entertainment of children, juvenile games of an hundred years ago will be revived, and the ladies and gentlemen in charge of the Festival will appear in old-fashioned costumes.

Note.—Monday, 20th. A Supper will be served at 6 P. M., consisting of dishes prepared from our grandmothers' "Cook-Book."
Tuesday, 21st. Concert by the Village Choir at 8 P.M., consisting of old Songs, Fugues, Rounds, and Catches.
Wednesday, 22d. An evening Party at 8 P.M., at which the Minuet, Sir Roger de Coverley, and antique Cotillons will be presented.

Tickets may be obtained of members of the Church Aid Society, or of Mr. H. L. Whitcomb, Postmaster.
Afternoon admission, 35 cents. Evening admission, 50 cents. </text>
