Letter from John Quincy Adams Ward to Daniel Chester French, 1/2

Title

Letter from John Quincy Adams Ward to Daniel Chester French, 1/2

Subject

Daniel Chester French

Description

In an earlier letter to Ward, French inquired if using zinc to create the Minute Man statue could save money. Ward replied by telling him the labor cost was the same and the long-term maintenance of zinc would be more difficult, recommending that French "go for the bronze."
