Dear Mr. Robbins,
There is no special haste about the plan of the lot at Concord, but there are one or two data about it which I should like to have as soon as possible. Merely the width of the lot on the road and the depth; I understand in regard to the latter measurement that Mr. Melvin can secure more land if necessary. The width I have to know before I can go on at all with my design. In regard to the scale and contour, any scale convenient to you will serve my purpose, and in regard to the contour, I merely need general facts, - the height of the bank on the road, the rise of the ground from the top of the bank to the hill behind it, &c.
Yours faithfully,
Daniel C. French
