Documenting clothing donated by the Concord Female Charitable Society Donation to the Freedmen's Aid Society (1870) as well as the CFCS's semi-annual meeting.

December 7th
The Society met with Mrs. R. P. Damon. Mrs. Hoar, Mrs. Keyes, Mrs. Derby, Mrs. Barrett, Mrs. Hildreth, Mrs. H. H. Buttrick, Mrs. Geo. Heywood, Mrs. Geo. Brooks, Miss A. S. Keyes and Miss Florence Keyes were present. 3 pillow cases, 1 child's flannel nightgown, 1 woman's nightgown were finished and work done on underclothing frills. Downing and Mrs. Lofters.
It was ruled to give whatever clothing there was in hand to the Freeman's Aid Society to be sent to the Freedmen in Washington. That society paying for the materials.
January 4th 1871
The Society held its semi annual meeting at the house of the President Mrs. Dr. Hood [?]. Mrs. Buttrick, Miss J. S. Keyes, Mrs. Geo. Heywood, Mrs. Gourgas, Mrs. Lang, Mrs. E. C. Damon, Mrs. Henry Smith, Mrs. Isaiah Brooks, Miss Bartlett, Miss Fay, Miss Hurd, Miss Folsom, Misses Florence and A. S. Keyes were present. It was voted to change the time for the meetngs from the first to the second Wednesday in the month.
